Huge thank you to Sobeys for letting me use your store to fundraise and the community of Pictou for really showing me your hearts and making a difference today!
The photo on the left shows the set up of my table and the beautiful, 2016 Queen Of The Sea. Here, we had a successful meet and greet as well as sold tickets on a frame full of gift cards in efforts to fundraise for Free The Children!
It was a busy day! Live performances and a Sobey’s staff barbecue for the SPCA was just around the corner outside the doors.
Lots of photo’s were taken! Definitely another unforgettable day as Miss Teenage Nova Scotia!
This lady I’m standing with in this photo, is absolutely brilliant! She worked for the United Nations for most of her life. Her experiences were inspiring. She has saved and brought peace to many lives and countries.
She shared her inspiring experiences and was very encouraging towards me being in this pageant! It’s people like her that will push me to succeed as I compete for the title Miss Teenage Canada!
When I have the crown on my head, I am no longer Katie, I am seen as a princess that everyone wants a picture with! Here are some photo’s with the kids:
